The following packages are designed for the lawyer who wants to outsource the entire video creation and production process. With these packages, your involvement is limited to engaging in periodic video topic creation calls and recording raw video footage per our training. Our company will handle every other task involved with production, distribution and promotion of videos, week after week, month after month.
If you would like to handle the details yourself, but need guidance with some or all of the video marketing process, you can hire me on an hourly basis to walk you through the entire video marketing process. Click here to learn more about the hourly consulting services I offer.
What this is: If you have never released a video, the starting point for your video marketing efforts should be to create a presence on YouTube. YouTube does not charge you to create a “channel” but there are both technical elements and artistic elements to doing so. For example, you will want a channel header that includes your logo, phone number, text about your firm and links to your website(s). You also need to choose a layout for your channel and create default content for your videos. Our company has experience and expertise in setting up your YouTube channel and we can work with you to create or modify the look and feel of your channel.
Our services include:
What this is: given the quality of cameras released by Apple, Samsung and other smart phone manufacturers, your “video studio” can be set up in your home office, your kitchen or anywhere you have a quiet environment and even lighting. We can guide you through choosing necessary accessories (smartphone stand, lavalier microphone, lighting) and testing the entire system from recording to uploading to the cloud for editing and production.
Choose a video production package that allows you to record raw footage and thereafter outsource every other step in the video production and distribution process.
Many of our clients use screen capture software to visually demonstrate expertise to prospective clients, or to record “over the shoulder” document reviews. If you are new to screen capture, we can install Camtasia or similar software on your computer and train you or a staff member in the steps of screen capture video creation. The raw footage can then be uploaded to a secure cloud host so that our staff can produce and distribute finished videos.
While we can create effective law firm marketing videos using smartphone cameras, you can upgrade your video studio setup to use a camcorder, DLSR or mirrorless camera, studio lighting and higher quality microphones. We can come to your home or office location, and set up and test higher end equipment.
All of your marketing efforts, and especially your video marketing, should not be a “one shot” effort. While you want to give your potential clients the option to call or email if they have an immediate need, your results will be much better if you can add potential clients to a marketing funnel so that you can reach out to them again and again. One example of a funnel you can create is an email marketing funnel. We can create an information packet with a high perceived value (a “consumer’s guide,” “survival kit,” or “insider’s guide”). Your prospective client – whether in immediate need or only mildly interested – will opt in to an email delivery of the information packet and over weeks or months to come you can offer both valuable information and and an offer for a free consultation, automatically, by email using an autoresponder service like Aweber, Constant Contact or MailChimp. As we build your list of warm to hot client leads, we can reach out to your list using an email blast when you release a new video or timely blog post.
The most effective automated email messages will appear to be personal emails such that potential clients will actually reply directly to you, thereby starting a direct conversation that can be taken off line. We have tested and proven email subject lines and messages that are not “salesly” and “enter the conversation already taking place in your client’s mind.”
